Rajinikanth hospitalised in Chennai for planned procedure; actor’s wife shares health update

Rajinikanth hospitalised

As per a News18 report, Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai on Monday night. As per the report, the 73-year-old actor’s condition is currently ‘stable.’ According to a hospital source, the super was hospitalised last night after complaining of stomach pain.

The report further noted that the actor – who was last seen in Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer, will undergo an elective procedure today. The procedure will be done under interventional cardiologist Dr Sai Satish in the cardiac cath lab. For those who do not know, an elective procedure isn’t an emergency but needs to be scheduled in advance. Fans and well-wishers are eagerly awaiting updates on the actor’s health.

Latha shares Thalaivar’s health update

When CNN-News18 contacted the actor’s wife for an update regarding Rajinikanth’s health, Latha stated, “All is well.”

Before his hospitalisation, Rajinikanth attended the audio launch of his upcoming film Vettaiyan. At the event, the universally loved artist showcased his iconic dance moves and captivated the audience. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan is set to release on October 10.
